It has been a day to forget for Nigerians as three of the country’s music superstars, Wizkid, Burna Boy and Femi Kuti that were nominated failed to win, while the Beninese singer and songwriter, Angelique Kidjo shined at the 2022 edition of the prestigious music awards.
Wizkid lovers who had been celebrating before the awards presentation took place because they have so much belief that their favorite would win were disappointed as Kidjo beat him to win the Global Music Album category.
