Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have been crowned 2020/2021 Premier League Champions after their closest challenger Manchester United lost at home to Leicester City on Monday evening.
The Spaniard manager and his soldiers have now won their third Premier League title in four seasons, taking his trophy tally at the Manchester-based club to 10.
City stays on top of the Premier League table with 80 points while their city rival Manchester United occupied the second spot with 70 points and with 3 matches remaining to conclude this year campaign, the 10 points gap between the two is enough to crown The Citizens as the Champions of England for the 3rd time in 4 years.
Pep Guardiola’s men are now heading to the Champions League final in Portugal on May 29 with two titles in the cabinet already this season.
