Christopher Alao Akala, former Oyo State Governor is dead
According to reports, Akala, 71 was confirmed dead last night after he returned from Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

Alao Akala was a popular Nigerian politician who ruled as a Governor of Oyo State between 2007 and 2011. He was also the candidate of the Action Democratic Party, ADP, in the 2019 Governorship election in the state.
