The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), has acquired 300 million litres of petrol to level up the gap created by contaminated petrol withdrawn from depots and filling stations.

This was announced on Thursday by President Muhammadu Buhari’s media aide, Bashir Ahmad via his official verified Twitter handle, @BashirAhmaad.

According to him, NNPC ordered six vessels of PMS which arrived in Nigeria with 300 million litres of petrol. He added the acquirement is meant to cover the gap generated by tainted petrol restrained from depots and filling stations.
