The Jigawa State Governor, Abubakar Badaru, has reportedly ordered the arrest of the state All Progressives Congress Chairman, Habibu Sara and one other chieftain of the party, Habu Jahun.
Legit.ng reported that Governor Badaru issued the executive order after he was being accused of awarding contracts indiscriminately by the party’s two chieftains in his state.
According to reports, the duo were subsequently expelled from the party, arrested and detained by the police after the allegation.
The police in the state confirmed the arrest and detainment of the 2 APC chieftain, adding that they acted after a written petitions by the governor’s special aide on media content, Habibi Ringim.
