Hope Uzodinma Abandons Father Mbaka, No Longer Picks His Calls, The Cleric Laments

The founder and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry of Enugu, Rev. Fr Ejike Mbaka, has cried out that the incumbent governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, no longer picks his calls, Daily Post Nigeria has reported.

Recall that Father Mbaka rightly predicted the emergence of Hope Uzodinma as the governor of Imo State, even as everyone mocked him for wishing for an impossibility. But against all odds, the Supreme Court of Nigeria went in the way of Mbaka by pronouncing Hope Uzodinma the true winner of the gubernatorial election, and thereby declaring him the authentic governor of the state.

The unexpected development sent shocks in the spine of many political observers, and this helped Father Mbaka earn a new name of “the man of God that should not be taken for granted.” This was to an extent that Hope Uzodinma had to invite the Man of God to help him cleanse and bless the Imo state government house before he dared to move in.

However, the old good songs now seem to have taken a different tone, as Father Mbaka has cried out that Hope Uzodinma no more picks his calls, in what implies that the governor is now shunning him.

What may be responsible for the governor’s new behaviour remains a mystery, but Father Mbaka has just only disclosed that since Uzodinma assumed the mantle of power, he is no more answering his phone calls. He noted further that the governor has also not yet returned to the Adoration Ministry to show some appreciation.

In Mbaka’s word:

It’s not that I’m asking for money, it’s that I should advise him for good governance”, Mbaka said.

What do you make of the Mbaka and Uzodinma’s relationship which now appear to be falling apart? Please share and comment.
