Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Wednesday, said he is delighted by the amazing welcome he received from the people of Rivers when he visited the state.
Tinubu said this in a statement released via his official Facebook page.
Recall that the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike invited the former Governor of Lagos state for the commissioning of some gigantic project in his – a request that was granted by the President elect.
Taken to his official verified social media accounts, the two term governor of Lagos state disclosed that he was delighted by the rousing welcome from the people of Rivers state and appreciated Governor Wike for honouring with such an invitation to commission the latest of the many wonderful developmental projects built by his administration.
The statement reads;
“I was delighted by the rousing welcome I received upon my arrival in Port Harcourt earlier today.
“It was an honour to have been invited by His Excellency, Governor Nyesom Ezenwa Wike, to commission the latest of the many wonderful developmental projects executed by his administration.”
