A Nigerian Lawyer and social media activist, Reno Omokri has mocked the idea of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the February 25th presidential election, Peter Obi, that people should vote out the incumbent governor of Lagos Lagos state and Governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The former aide to Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, who seems to be amazed by some of the projects executed by Governor Sanwo-Olu, condemned the idea of voting him out and handing over the affairs of Lagos State to an inexperienced candidate of the Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.
Mr Omokri, who compared the work Sanwo-Olu has done in Lagos for 4 years to that of Peter Obi in Anambra for 8 years, wondered why the latter would want Lagosians to vote against the former who has achieved what he couldn’t achieve in his 8 years of ruling Anambra state.
Taking to his official verified Twitter handle, Reno Omokri wrote, “Ordinary bus terminal, Obi did not build in Anambra for 8 years. And he wants Lagosians to vote out a Governor who built a metro in 4 years? When a man promises to clothe you, look at the clothes he is wearing. Obi is more naked than Sanwoolu – Reno Omokri
