A State House of Assembly Candidate of the Young Progressives Party(YPP), Comrade Saheed Bukola Badmus, popularly known as Seedorf, has disclosed that he’s ready to fight for the liberation of the youths in Kwara state.
The creator of the slogan “The Time is Youth O’ Clock” made this known while speaking to our correspondent after he was declared the winner of the YPP State House of Assembly ticket to represent Oloru/Malete/Ipaye constituency of Moro Local Government.
The young, vibrant and energetic Seedorf who had worked tirelessly in ensuring peace, and safety of lives and properties of people and students living around the Kwara State Polytechnic has promised that if elected, he would use his vast experience in politics to provide the right kind of representation to his constituency and make youths his priority because he’s one of them.
Mr Saheed in his statement, assured people from his constituency of proper and best representation at the State’s House of Assembly, while also vowing that the interests of his people will be well protected on the floor of the House.
Moreover, he assured them that the integrity of the constituency will be flown very high, if, by the special grace of the Almighty, he becomes a member of the Kwara state House of Assembly.
He also pledges to sponsor bills that will prioritize and advocate for youth development and empowerment, adequate child education, and also those that would provoke human capacity development of his Constituency and Kwara State at large.
The young comrade stated further that the hallmark of his service to his constituency will centre around rural empowerment of youths and women with small scale and large scale enterprises through collaboration with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
Mr Saheed concluded that he is prepared to deliver and emphasized that his presence in the house would provide robust and impactful legislation, and not just fulfil the quota representation without concomitant performance.
