The operative of the Nigerian Police has reportedly arrested one Opeyemi Olufemi after he allegedly stole an offering from a Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), located at Ikeji Arakeji area of Osun State.
HotNewsInNaija gathered that the suspect was intercepted by Men of the Nigerian Police during stop and search duties along Igbara-Odo /Akure road while he was riding on a motorcycle with a school bag containing different denominations of Naira notes.
It was further gathered that the suspect could not explain the source of the money nor give an accurate account of the money in the bag.
After a thorough investigation, he later confessed to have stolen the money from the offering vault of a CAC located at Ikeji, Arakeji in Osun State.
The money, after it was sorted and counted by police, amounts to Six Hundred Thousand, One Hundred and Fifteen Naira Only (N620,115). People’s prayer requests and offering money were also stolen by the suspect.
