Six people have reportedly been killed in an attack by gunmen suspected to be Fulani Herdsmen in Kagoro, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
According to reports, those gunmen allegedly attacked people passing in front of a Government Secondary School located in the area.
The Punch Newspaper reported as gathered by an eyewitness on Thursday that the gunmen arrived at the area on motorcycles and launched the attack on those they could sight. He also confirmed that as a result of the attack, six persons have been found dead.
He stressed that security agencies have heard about the incident and they are now evacuating the secondary school student to a more secured environment.
The Punch also reported that Muhammed Jalige, the Kaduna State Police Command spokesperson is yet to respond as of the time of filing this report.
