It is not news again that the Nigerian Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has declared his intention to contest for President in the 2023 presidential election.
Following his declaration, Tinubu who doubles as his political Godfather and leader in the All Progressive Congress (APC), was reportedly shocked to see his boy declaring to challenge him in the party’s primary elections.
The Vice President’s declaration has sparked many reactions from the people of the country as some of them seized the moment to shame Tinubu for seeing Osinbajo, who is regarded by people as one of his boys, trying to snatch the presidential ticket away from him in the APC primary.
Shortly, after Osinbajo’s declaration, the former Lagos State Governor reportedly summoned Progressives Governors to an emergency meeting, where 14 APC’s governors were present, including those who attended the Vice President’s official declaration.
