What The Christian Population Should Know About Tinubu’s Presidency

Tinubu’s antecedent has shown him to be a religiously liberal and fair leader to all religions. As a Muslim, he nurtured Osinbajo to political maturity even though he is a pastor. He has been living under the same roof with a pastor wife for decades. Tinubu is also a detribalized Nigeria: As Lagos governor, he appointed even Igbos into his cabinet, the like of Ben Akabueze as the Commissioner of Budget and Economic planning. No matter how we look at it, Tinubu’s presidency will protect the interest of the Christians more than an Atiku’s. This is simply the fact.

The plain fact staring us in the face now is that the North may not settle for a Christian VP after giving the South the presidency. They are predominantly Muslims like 70-80 per cent, and forcing a Christian VP down their throat after ceding the presidency to the South, would appear as a double loss to them. This is why we in the south need to make sacrifices. It may be difficult, but it is necessary to win the election.

Southerners should be ready to accept the identity of any VP nominated by the North irrespective of religion. Everyone who love Tinubu truly must know that with Tinubu, SS/SE Christian Senate President and the Pastor Firstlady in Oluremi Tinubu, the interest of the Christian family is completely protected. There shouldn’t be any doubt about this.

Let the North just come with whoever they want as the VP. That is the surest way we can deliver a SOUTHERN PRESIDENCY
