Nigerian billionaire, Engineer Femi Matthew Egbeoluwa and his Wife, Funmi have reportedly been murdered by unidentified gunmen who broke into their home at 1, Adefolu drive, Allen Avenue Ikeja between last Friday night and early Saturday morning.
According to reports, preliminary police investigation revealed the couple were killed by their driver and house help after they stole a sum of £5,000 from them.
It was also gathered that the couple were preparing to travel out of the country for Demi’s regular medical check-up and the $5,000 stolen by the murderers was said to be the money for Femi’s medical expenses.
The Lagos State police command confirmed the incident.
They said investigation has commenced into the death of the couple.
