“Buna Boy Can’t Have Davido’s Money Even If He Had Stopped Singing Since 2017,” Tweep Sparks Reactions on Twitter

A Twitter user has drawn mixed reactions from people after speaking about the ongoing money superiority debate about three Nigerian biggest Afrobeats stars, Wizkid, Davido and Burnaboy.

On Friday, Burna Boy sent people into frenzy after he took to social media to announce himself as the highest-paid artist in the history of Africa. This, thereafter, generated serious arguments as many were rubbishing the singer’s claim and telling him he’s nowhere near his rivals, Davido and Wizkid.

Burna Boy insisted, went on Instagram live and started answering different kinds of questions from his fans. He also affirmed the fact that he’s richer than Wizkid after a fan told him Wizkid is richer.

However, a Tweep with the username, @Juni_YRN, in his contrary opinion, has taken to his account to share his view about the unending superiority claim between the top-notch singers.

Juni_YRN, in his tweet, said Burna Boy may be richer than Wizkid because Wizkid used to invest huge amount of money in promoting his music and he does not really make more from it but the Grammy Awards winner cannot have Davido’s money even if the son of the billionaire had retired from singing since 2017.

The tweet reads:

“Burnaboy might be richer than wizkid, wizkid invest a lot of money on promotion, like he did with essence and made in Lagos..he makes less money from music, he is all about the records.. but burna can’t have DAVIDO’S money even if DAVIDO had stopped singing since 2017✌🏽💯
