Expel Me And See If You Will Survive – Wike Tackles PDP

Governor Wike of Rivers State

Governor Wike of Rivers State.

As the crisis in Peoples Democratic Party, PDP gets messier, it has been gathered that the leader of the G-5, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has dared the opposition party to expel him and face the consequences.

According to Daily Post, Wike said this while he was flagging a new road in Rivers State. He said, “Expel me and see if you will survive.” He went on to recall what transpired between former President Obasanjo and Atiku in 20023.

He said, “In 2003 when President Olusegun Obasanjo wanted to run for a second tenure, a whole president wanted to run for a second tenure, he knelt before his vice and said my vice please allow me to run. Do you know the conditions that he gave him? That Tony Anenih must be sacked. Obasanjo obliged and sack Anenih. This is a president and his vice giving him condition; a retired General knelt and was given conditions.”

Wike then said that the G-5 is not saying that Atiku should kneel and beg them or that he should sack anyone, what they are saying is that the constitution of the PDP must be respected based on what the Iyorchia Ayu, the national chairman said and based on what Atiku told him (Wike) in his house.

Do you think that Governor is overreacting or that nemesis has caught up with Atiku based on how he treated former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan? Feel free to share your thoughts on this.
