Ganiat Olawore, popularly known as Omo Oku Orun, has emerged winner of the Ibadan South East Constituency 2 orimary election at the just concluded APC’s State House of Assembly Primaries held on Thursday, 26th May, 2022
Ganiat, the only woman in the race contested against 7 other aspirants for the seat. The Primaries which ran late into the evening was held at Odinjo.
Out of 8 aspirants, Ganiat floored the remaing seven with a whooping 14 votes to emerge winner while her runner up could only mull just 6 votes.
The results of all the aspirants who appeared for the primaries alongside Ganiat Olawore are as follows:
Hon sikiru Ali : 05
Hon okiki Adebolu : 06
Ganiat Olawore : 14 WINNER
Hon Akeem Dollar: 03
Delivering her acceptance speech, Ganiyat expressed her sincere gratitude to all the delegates, and promised that she would fly the flag of the party high, while also expressing optimism that the party will emerge victorious in the forthcoming general elections.
