Supreme court sitting in Abuja has smashed the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar with a fine of A sum of Two Million Naira for wasting the time of the court.
Aside from the fine, the suit was dismissed for lacking in merit.
Atiku filed a suit seeking to nullify Tinubu/Shettima’s victory over the vice president-elect double nomination.
Justice Adamu Jauro who read the judgement, added that the PDP acted as meddlesome Interloper and a busy body as it is an internal affair of the APC.
The Justices further held that the attitude of the appellant (PDP), amounts to misleading the court, describing the move as “sad”.
