The new Chief of Army Staff, Major General Lagbaja has revealed that Nigerian President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not planning to grant amnesty to terrorists simply recognised as Bandits.
This was disclosed in a newly issued statement by the newly appointed COAS, noting that granting amnesty to the terrorists will do no good to the country but create an avenue for the criminals to reorganise, attack citizens and disturb the peace of Nigeria.
“Granting amnesty to bandits will only create an avenue for the criminals to reorganise, attack citizens ” He added.
