It has been revealed the reason why Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola sheds tears after his side defeated their neighbours, Manchester United in a clash of the titan’s FA Cup final played on Saturday evening.
In England, the end of the season came with the Citizens’ win against United in the FA Cup, and most fans were a bit surprised to see footage of the brilliant Spanish manager being brought down to tears after his side’s well-deserved win.
Pep Guardiola who is not known for being too emotional on the sidelines, was caught on camera shedding tears after the team lifted the trophy in a nerve-wracking battle that also gave him his second League and Cup double in English football.
Meanwhile, the Spaniard while speaking to BBC Sport, shared his thoughts at full time and revealed why tears came out of his eyes during Cup winning celebration.
He even went as far as to compare the Manchester Derby and his feelings right after those nerve-wracking matches as a player and coach with Barcelona against Real Madrid.
