Barely 17 hours after the invasion of Sunday Igboho’s house by some unknown gunmen and the concomitant abduction of his wife and six others, report reaching hotnewsinnaija has indicated that all the abductees have been released.
They were released few minutes after Igboho announced the suspension of the proposed Yoruba Nation rally slated to hold in Lagos on July 3.
According to NewsDirectNG, the wife of the Yoruba rights activist and six others were released in Ekiti state. However, more details on how they were released was not provided.

Recall that the house of Sunday Igboho located at the Soka area of Ibadan was invaded by unknown gunmen in the early hours of Thursday. Some reports suggested that two people were killed while seven others were abducted.

The attack seems to be targeted at dissuading Sunday Igboho from going on with the proposed July 3rd rally slated to hold in Lagos. And coincidentally, those abducted from his house were only released after he declared that the proposed rally has been suspended.
