Set Back In Tinubu’s Camp As Gov. Abiodun Joins Osinbajo In Consultation Visit To Ogun Paramount Rulers’ Palace, Declares Support

The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has declared his support for Nigerian Vice President and All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential aspirant, Professor Yemi Osinbajo after he joined him in his consultation visit to some of the state paramount rulers.

Gov. Abiodun confirmed the vice president’s visit to the state in a statement released via his official Facebook page.

Osinbajo accompanied by Governor Abiodun visited the palaces of the Akarigbo of Remoland, the Alake of Egbaland, and the Olu of Ilaro to consult them and seek their support in pursuit of his presidential ambition.

Within Nigeria gathered from a source that the Ogun state governor when he was speaking, at the Akarigbo’s palace, promised to support the presidential aspirant who hails from their dear state. He also assured the support of all his cabinet.

Abiodun, in his statement, stated that it was a pleasure to receive the Vice President back to his homeland and confirmed that he was given a warm reception by the leaders and members of the APC in the state, as well as the good people of Ogun state.

He also uploaded, along with the statement, the pictures of wonderful moments of the event.

The statement reads:

“We joined the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, GCON today on his consultation visit to some of our paramount rulers in Ogun State at the palaces of the Akarigbo of Remoland, the Alake of Egbaland, and the Olu of Ilaro.”

“It was a pleasure receiving the Vice President, who was given a warm reception in his homeland by the good people of Ogun State, party leaders and members of the All Progressive Congress, Ogun State.”
