Nigerian President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has finally nominated an indigene of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory as minister.
There has been calls in recent times for an Abuja Indigene to be made Minister of FCT, It remains to be seen what portfolio will be given to him.
Since 1999, no nomination for a ministerial appointment has been made from Abuja-FCT, but that record has been broken with the nomination of Jisalo who’s rumoured to be the next FCT minister.
On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu transmitted an additional list of ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation.
The second list contained 19 names.
