BREAKING: Cristiano Ronaldo Losses Baby Boy

Manchester United Striker, Cristiano Ronaldo has today announced the death of one of his newborn twins.

The 5-time Ballon d’Or winner disclosed this in a statement signed by him and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and released via a tweet posted on his official Twitter handle, @Cristiano.

Recall that the Portuguese and his girlfriend made an announcement on social media last October that they were expecting twins and, in a video released in December, they disclosed that it is a boy and a girl twins that they were expecting.

In his post, Ronaldo announced the passing away of the little boy and revealed that he and his wife are currently passing through the greatest pain any parents can feel. He added that it is only the birth of the baby girl that gives them the strength to live the moment with some hope and happiness.

The Portugal national team captain, however, thank the doctors and nurses for giving their best to save the boy’s life, as well as for their, support.

The Manchester United forward added his entire family is currently devastated at the loss of their baby and he kindly asks for privacy at the very difficult moment.

The statement reads:

“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel. Only the birth of our baby gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.

“We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.”

The former Real Madrid has four children. He has a daughter, Alana Martina, with partner Georgina, who was born in November 2017.
