Nigeria Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has today, caught people’s attention after he reacted to Arsenal’s spectacular triumph over Manchester United.
The Gunner stunned United in their weekend’s English Premier League clash, beating them 3 goals to nil in a match that seems to be the Top four decisive.
Arsenal, having beaten Chelsea 2-4 at the Stamford Bridge during the week to secure a very important 3 points, started this weekend’s match with a winning mentality and started scoring as early as 3 minutes into the game.
In the 3rd minute of the game, Nuno Tavares scored for The Gunners before Bukayo Saka doubled the North London club’s lead in the 32nd minute.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who just lost one of his newborn twins, scored for United just two minutes after Saka’s goal after he converted a perfect assist from Nemanja Matic and keep a comeback hope alive.
Shortly after the second half kick-off, Arsenal conceded a penalty and gave United a chance to stage a comeback but Bruno Fernandes who takes the spot-kick blew away the chance after hitting the woodwork and failed to convert it.

Arsenal would later seal the victory in the 70th minute with a fantastic screamer scored by former Captain, Granit Xhaka.
Reacting to this, the Presidential Aspirant under the umbrella of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku took to his official Twitter handle, @atiku, to celebrate the victory with The Gunners.
In his tweet, he related the game to politics, described Arsenal as a better team and called the victory the consensus.

This has drawn many people’s attention and they trooped to the comment section of the tweet to react to the former Nigerian vice president’s tweet.
In their comments, Atiku was attacked and alleged to stylishly complain about the Northern PDP leaders that recently approved former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed as their consensus candidate.
