In what could be described as a clash of the titans, Bianca Odemegwu Ojukwu, the wife of the former Biafran warlord reportedly gave a dirty slap to Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, the wife of the immediate past Anambra state governor at the venue of the swearing-in ceremony of Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on Thursday morning.
Problem started when Obiano’s wife, who was given a warm welcome to the occasion, was moving around to greet dignitaries who graced the swearing in. When she got to a point and saw Ojukwu’s wife on the seat, she was said to have taken a jibe at Bianca, saying she was surprised to see her (Bianca) on seat, even though Bianca had initially vowed sometimes in the past never to grace any occasion that has anything to do with APGA.
Bianca was said to have been infuriated by the comment of Obiano’s wife, and thus stood up and gave a dirty slap to the outgoing governor’s wife.
This caused a bit of disruption to the oath of office being taken by Prof. Soludo who was signing some documents at the time.
Other dignitaries at the event were said to have rushed to bring an end to the phantasmagoria of horror and incivility between the two heavyweights and were able to bring normalcy in a short while.
