“Nigerians Don’t Like Omah Lay,” Timaya Says, States Reason

Legendary Afrobeats star, Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon, better known by his stage name Timaya has declared his Junior colleague, Stanley Omah Didia professionally known as Omah Lay as the most underrated artist in Nigeria.

The Bayelsa born singer stated that judging by hard work Omah Lay is putting into his work, the vibrant young talent is not getting the support he deserve from Nigerians.

Timaya, in a recent interview said Omah Lay is the best new generation artist we have in Nigeria, adding that the Port Harcourt born singer has been so consistent in his craft.

In his words, “When talking about artist who deserve our support I think Omah lay is one of the most underrated artist we’ve in Nigeria he has been so consistent and to think he is the best new generation artist we have in Nigeria but the support he received is not that much.”

Omah Lay has released two EPs and a studio album and collaborated with artists which include Spinall, Justin Bieber, Masterkraft, and Jul.
