Nigerian footballer and FC Barcelona striker, Asisat Oshoala, has lamented about the rate at which people beg her for money on messaging app, WhatsApp.
The current African Female Footballer of the Year said this on Friday in a post shared via her official verified Twitter handle.
In the post, Oshoala suggested that the app should be renamed from being WhatsApp to ‘Billing’ App.
The tweet reads:
“You see that WhatsApp ehn, them suppose don rename as Billing app, cus you see that green App ehn, na billing full am. Who curse that app ‘edakun’?
‘Billing’ is a slang for begging for money.
