A 300 Level student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Chidinma Ojukwu, has reportedly been arrested for allegedly killing the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, Usifo Ataga in Lekki.
Chidinma, a 300-level Mass Communication UNILAG student, was paraded on Thursday at the Lagos State Police Command headquarters, Ikeja.
Channels TV gathered that Ataga was found with multiple wounds on his body in a pool of his blood after he was allegedly stabbed to death by Chidinma at a hotel where he lodges in the Lekki of the state.
Speaking about the incident, the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, told newsmen that the suspect had confessed she truly stabbed the media mogul while she was defending herself from being raped.
He added that the owner of the hotel where the tragic incident occurred has also been arrested and held in police detention.
The suspect also spoke to the reporters, gave an account of what went down between her and the late businessman whom she accused of raping her.
The 21-year old claimed that Ataga made a first attempt to which she succumbed to his wishes, but the unfortunate incident took place after she failed to allow him to make his way the second time.
In her words:
“We were in the lodge smoking. He was trying to make advances on me. I was tired and he became violent on it. I let him have his way.
She recounted that towards afternoon, Ataga ordered foodies and they took both took it and also ate food, adding that the media mogul became high after taken the roofies and he moved closer to him and wanted to have sex with her again. She added:
“I was still not happy with the first one (sex) that we had, so, I was staying on my own, smoking and drinking. He, too, was on his own. He came to me, and I told him I wasn’t happy with what he did,” the suspect recounted.

Speaking further Chidinma disclosed that Ataga while trying to lure her into having another sex with him said she can take his ATM Card and withdraw any amount she wants.
She added that the matter turned violent when he’s trying to get to her and she was resisting and defending herself, adding that he at some point, hit her head on the wall and she also retaliated.

Chidinma revealed that Ataga began to chase her at some point in the kitchen where she took a knife and stabbed him in the neck.
She explained that the media mogul followed her as she approached the door before she stabbed him twice on the neck side again. She narrated:
“I threw the knife to the bed, and he was going for it, but I also went for it. He dragged the knife with me and it broke, and he fell on the floor.”
