After wide consultations with stakeholders across Odo-Otin/Ifelodun/Boripe Federal Constituency, it’s my pleasure to announce to all lovers of DMO, my political associates and the general public that I have formally joined Accord Party with membership registration number of 08850.
Accord, as a party that prioritize competence and capability, and also gives room for internal democracy in the right sense of the word, has offered me the needed platform to contest the House of Representatives election in 2023.
With this development, all lovers of DMO and the teeming electorates yearning for quality representation in Odo-Otin/Ifelodun/Boripe Federal Constituency will have the opportunity to elect me with their votes as Member of House of Representatives in the forthcoming general election scheduled for February 25, 2023.
My sincere gratitude to Dr Akin Ogunbiyi – the Governorship candidate of the Party, Pastor Victor Akande – the State Party Chairman, Alh Bolarinwa Nasiru Bamidele (State Secretary) and other members of the State Working Committee and party members across the State.
I also appreciate other political parties that have reached out to me with the offer of allowing me to fly my political assignment to the House of Reps on their platforms following my official resignation from the APC on June 22, 2022. While I am humbled by the plethora of goodwill from these diverse quarters, I am highly encouraged that there are a lot of people who believe that it’s the quality of the persons elected that determines the chance of good governance and not the political platform itself.
The journey towards providing selfless service and people-oriented quality representation to the people of Odo-Otin/Ifelodun/Boripe Federal Constituency continues; and by the grace of God and with the support of the electorates, our Constituency will elect for the first time a candidate not on the platform of PDP or APC (AD/ACN) but on the Accord Party.
This is to say that, by the special grace of God, I am confident that the good people of my constituency will give me the support and the necessary votes that will make me emerge victorious in February 25, 2023 House of Reps election on the platform of Accord Party.
