The National Leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and other APC chieftains have paid a condolence visit to the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, over the death of the Chief of Army Staff and ten other military chiefs on Monday night at the presidential villa.

The Chief of Army staff and 10 others died in a plane crash in Kaduna on Friday, setting the nation into a state of mourning. They have all been laid to rest at the military cemetary in Abuja.

The APC leaders, in a tweet by The Nation on its verified Twitter handle, have now visited the President to commiserate with him on the loss of the gallant soldiers while in active service.

Among the entourage is the pioneer National Chairman of the All Progresives Congress, Chief Bisi Akande, Olusegun Osoba and some other top party chiefs from the South-West.
