People have looted drinks in a trailer that was involved in an accident along Ede road in osun state, while the policemen present at the scene of the accident were indifferent.
The trailer conveying plastic drinks fell off the road along Ede road in Osun state, but instead of the people at the scene of the accident to rally round the driver and probably helped him secure the goods on board, they descended on the trailer and looted all the drinks.
In a video posted by the Punch Newspaper, locals were seen packing the displaced drinks without any feelings for the trailer’s driver or any other people that might be on board.
56A police van was also sighted at the scene of the accident, but it does not look like they came to secure the goods or scare away those looting the drinks. A critical look at the police van showed some of the drinks were also stuffed into the police van.
According to the Punch, a Twitter user, who shared the video claimed that even policemen were involved in the looting as they were seen on the scene with drinks already in their vehicle.
