Abdulmumin Jubrin Planned Defection Has Nothing to Do With Tinubu’s Aspiration, He’s Been Having Running Battle With Kano APC Echelon Since 2019

Mr Jibrin Abdulmumin represented Kiru/Bebeji federal constituency between 2015 and 2019.

Although he is the DG of Tinubu Campaign Organization, his tweet about leaving APC has no connection with Bola Tinubu’s presidential aspiration, it was all about his battle with Kano APC echelon since 2019 when he was perceived or suspected to be loyal to Kwankwaso.

The former lawmaker has had a running battle with the leadership of the APC in Kano State, as he abstained from participating and helping the incumbent governor in the 2019 election that led to a run off.

Though Mr Jibrin did not announce the political party he is defecting to, sources claim he is planning to defect to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to pursue his personal political ambition.

A reliable source said that he supported kwankwaso candidate in 2019 governorship election, leaving his party APC’s candidate, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, to only struggle to win. Whether he supported Kwankwaso or not, Jubrin denied it and still remain in APC until today.

But the fact remains that Ganduje’s groups accused him of supporting kwankwaso candidate in the 2019 governorship elections. Although, APC nearly lost the election, but the party somehow struggled to win after all.

And in retaliation, Ganduje’s group also worked for PDP candidate in the bye election in Jubrin’s consituency which resulted in his defeat also.

Afterwards, reconciliation took place through the intervention of the likes of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and all seemed to be going well, until now that still the party leadership in the state don’t want him to participate in the house of representative election under the APC platform. He sensed the danger ahead, and that’s why he is considering defection.

This is purely Kano State party politics, and it has nothing to do with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s presidential aspiration. When I see haters rejoicing, I just ask them to revel in their temporary joy as they are only suffering from self delusion.

2023 Nigeria’s Presidency is the exclusive preserve of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and no jupiter can take that away.

As for Jubrin, he is fighting for his own personal political aspiration, and I hope the rancour will be settled in a matter of hours. But that is no setback for Tinubu”s presidential aspiration. Enemies, laugh no more!!!!.
