Angry youths have reportedly set ablaze more than 20 motorcycles, better known as Okada on Thursday at Jakande Estate, Isolo in Lagos after an accident caused by an Okada man killed one person.

Channels Television gathered from an eyewitness that the incident occurred after a rider plying a one-way route reportedly knocked down a pedestrian who died immediately.

In retaliation, Youths in the area got angry and started hijacking motorcycles in sight and setting them on fire.

Recall that the Lagos State government has laid a ban on Okada riders in the state and they have been working tirelessly to ensure that its operation is seized across the state.

According to reports, one of the reasons why the Lagos state government want to see an end to the operation of Okada is the increasing accident caused by the motorcycle riders that has taken lives of many people in the state.
