Former Nigerian Senator, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the petitions submitted against the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, by the presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Tinubu was declared the winner of the presidential election conducted on February 25, 2023. However, his fellow contenders have rejected the outcome of the election.
Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar filed different petitions against the APC presidential candidate before the Election Tribunal on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

The Labour Party candidate asked the court to nullify Tinubu’s victory and order a fresh election with the exclusion of the APC candidate.
Peter Obi said Tinubu did not qualify to run for president due to his alleged drug case in the United States of America.
The petitions have generated a lot of reactions on social media. In reaction to the development, Shehu Sani said such legal scheming by Obi and Atiku would never be enough to nail a person of Tinubu calibre who had escaped such allegations from a legal luminary of Gani Fawehimmi’s Calibre in the past.
He said, “Fear the man who escaped Fawehimmi’s bullets.”
