“It Was Wizkid, Olamide, Myself, Not You” – Yung6ix Hits Back At Davido Over ‘New Cat’ Statement

Nigerian singer, Onome Onokohwomo, popularly known as Yung6ix, has reacted to the ‘new cat’ controversial statement made by popular Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke professionally known as Davido.

Speaking in a recent interview, Davido state that he and Wizkid were the one who paved way for other colleagues, which he referred to as ‘new cats’.

Reacting to Davido’s statement, Yung6ix, in a new video on Friday hit back at the ‘FEEL’ crooner, saying he was not there when he, Wizkid and Olamide had already blown.

In his words, “You know I got nothing but love for you. Here ain’t anything but a lit bit of straightening, so let’s get it straight. So it was Wizkid, Olamide, and it was Yung6ix before it was you.

“There was a lot of people that has emotions but the big homies . We were the youngins . I don’t even know wetin happen. No tell me say you done dey smoke on colos. David, I dey stay California now legit for here. Everybody they standard.”

The rapper also said there were many other artists before Davido, as he urged the singer not to skip the line.
