Reno Omokri, a lawyer, human right activist and former media aide to President Jonathan, has urged all well meaning Nigerians to come to the defence of Adeyemo Sunday, an activist and leader of Yoruba Nation agitation, popularly known as Sunday Igboho over his travail in the hands of Benin Republic government, following his arrest in a Benin airport on his way to catch a flight to Germany.

Omokri stated this via his verified Twitter handle, calling on all Nigerians that is worth its salt to commit their money, talents and influence to help Sunday Igboho out of his current travail in the hands of Benin Republic government, because he remains the one who stood for Nigerians when even President Buhari looked away as killer herdsmen wreaked havoc on the people.

Recall that Sunday Igboho was arrested alongside his wife, Ropo, at the Cadjèhoun Airport in Cotonou, Benin Republic on Monday, and report suggested that Nigerian government has been making frantic effort to extradite him to Nigeria.

Many seasoned lawyers and human right activists have noted that Igboho has committed no notable crimes to warrant his extradition, and Omokri has also now lent his voice to call for even more support for Sunday Igboho.

The human right activist affirmed that he is fully committed to Igboho and urged several others to commit their money, talents and influence to rescue Igboho, because he is the one who stood up against the activities of killer Herdsmen even when President Buhari abandoned his people.

In his tweet, Omokri says:

This is no time to just write and talk. We must commit our money, talents and influence to help this man that stood for us when nobody, including Buhari, stood to help us as killer herdsmen wreaked havoc on Nigerians. Starting with me. I am fully committed to Igboho
