The internet has been bombarded with differing comments from people across Africa after a Nigerian top-hole Afrobeats superstar, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, proclaimed himself as the highest-paid artist in the history of Africa.
What triggered the altercation from the singer is unknown to us but the self-acclaimed African giant has blessed the internet with the self-appraisal tweet which has put smiles on the faces of his fans but drew trolls from the lovers of other top competitors in the music industry like Davido, Wizkid and others.
Taking to his official Twitter handle on Saturday, the Odogwu of Africa said no amount of money can satisfy him and that’s his fact but that doesn’t change the fact that he remains the “highest-paid artist in the history of African music,” a statement he knew will generate many arguments from music lovers across Africa.

He ended his statement with “believe it or leave it,” which suggested the fact that the Nigerian top-notch singer was stylishly directing his statement to his rivals in the industry.
This, however, trailed with a series of reactions and counterreactions from music lovers across Africa as they trooped to the comment section of his tweet to share their opinions about the singer’s claim. Those who love him sing the praises of him while those who did not nail him and said his rival, Davido earns more than he does.
