The Nigerian Air Force, NAF, has started an investigation to find out the cause of the crash of its aircraft that killed Chief of the Army Staff, Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru, his aides and others on Friday.
Chief of the Army Staff, who was appointed with others on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, by President Muhammadu Buhari, has reportedly died in the crash alongside 11 others in Kaduna on Friday.
Hotnewsinnaija.com had earlier reported that an eye-witness in a now-viral video circulating online revealed that two unknown people escaped with parachutes from the Beachcraft 350 aircraft that crashed and killed Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Attahiru Ibrahim.

The NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Gabkwet Edward, in a statement released on Friday via its official Twitter handle @NigAirForce, stated that the cause of the crash is still being ascertained and details about it will soon be revealed.
