Nigeria’s president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has sent a message to people who didn’t vote for him during the February 25 general election.
In a statement released on Thursday, Bola Tinubu told them to believe in the country.
According to the ex-Lagos state Governor, he is seeking a better Nigeria for all citizens irrespective of their political affiliations.
“I ask that we work together as Nigerians for Nigeria. Those who voted for me, I ask that you continue to believe in our policies and plans for the country.
“I also ask that you reach out to your brothers and sisters who did not vote as you did. Extend to them the hand of friendship, reconciliation, and togetherness,” Tinubu said.
Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC was announced winner ahead of Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
