You Stain Nigeria’s Good Image Each Time You Defraud A Foreigner, EFCC Berates Yahoo Boys

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has berated the Nigerian fraudsters, otherwise known as Yahoo Boys to be mindful of their dastardly acts, as such are casting serious damage and aspersion on the reputation of the Nation, Nigeria.

The EFCC emphasized this in a tweet it posted on its verified Twitter handle @officialEFCC, berating the fraudsters, and asking them to reflect on the manner they rip foreigners off their hard earned money, as this only end up impugn the good image of Nigeria.

It reiterated further that, even though fraudsters enjoy temporary pecuniary benefits from their victims, they leave a permanent dent on the image of the country to an enormous degree they might not have conceived, most especially when foreigners are involved.

In its word, the Commission tweets:

The reputation of the country gets battered each time a foreigner is defrauded by one of us. This is unacceptable!
The EFCC stands firm against every form of cyber crime!

The commission now enjoined every well meaning Nigerians to always come forward to expose any act of fraud, as that is one of the sure way it would be able to take decisive actions to punish the offender; even as it warns all and sundry to say no to cyber crimes or any form of hustle that is not legitimate.
