4-year-old Playing With Gun Shot Himself Dead, While Mother Was Busy Shopping.

A 4-year-old Georgia boy, known as Miyell Hernandez, has accidentally shot himself dead outside a shopping store at around 5 p.m on Sunday, Georgia police has declared in a news release.

The incident, according to the police, occurred outside a Publix store in Dekalb County, Georgia, where his mother was busy shopping on the day.

The Police said that Miyell hernandez, his mother, an infant and a 13-year-old relative left home for a shopping at Publix store at 3045 Panola Road. On getting there, Miyell”s mother left the children in the car and went into the store alone.

But before the mother would come out of the store, Miyell has accidentally shot himself inside the vehicle, prompting the 13-year-old to immediately ran out of the vehicle and into the store for help.

Miyell was immediately transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced died. However, the police said no charges have been pressed in the case yet.

While Dekalb County Police Chief, Mirtha Ramos, was reacting to the incident, he said, “Our hearts and thoughts go out to the Hernandez family, and we’re imploring gun owners to always keep their guns safe and secure.”
