Nigerian preacher, Christian author and founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has recalled how he implored Nigerians to avoid President Muhammadu Buhari’s evil government before the 2015 general election.

The popular Nigerian pastor said this when he was speaking on Sunday during a sermon at the church’s headquarters, Canaanland, located at Ota in Ogun State.

Bishop Oyedepo, while he was speaking about the power of prophecy, recollected how some people were angry when he cautioned Nigerians about Buhari’s led administration before the 2015 election, adding that those that were angry are now facing reality.

The cleric man reiterated that he’s privileged to be among the few God shows things long before they happen and he saw the wickedness of the wicked being forced on the nation but people refused to listen to him. He said:

“Some fellows were upset with me when I was talking against this evil government. I told this Nation, you are heading for trouble in 2015. Are they in trouble or turbulence? Turbulence.

“I saw the wickedness of the wicked being forced on the land. Now no direction, no motion. When a Prophet speaks, he speaks the heart of God,” he added.

Bishop Oyedepo, meanwhile, stated that he would never join any political party talk less of contesting for any political position, adding that God has placed him above all political positions in the country, including the presidency.

In his words:

“Will I ever be in a political party in my life? No. Gone forever.

“I knew God has positioned me far above all nations even when I was not above a town or a street. I knew it by divine insight. That is where God is taking you to”.
