In a notification sms on Tuesday, one of the leading communication companies in Nigeria, MTN announced that its recharge activation code has changed from the popular *555* to *311*
Their new recharge method is now in the format *311*rechargepin# instead of *555*rechargepin#
MTN, therefore, encouraged their customers to start using the new code to make their recharging experience more convenient.
The statement reads;
“Dear Customer, this is to inform you of a change in our recharge activation code. You can now recharge your lines using *311*rechargepin# instead of *555*rechargepin#. We encourage you to start using the new code for your convenience. Thank you for choosing MTN.”
