Minister for Transportation and former Governor Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, has declared his intention to run for president in the 2023 general election.
Amaechi made the declaration in Port Harcourt on Sunday, during the All Progressives Congress Rivers State Thanksgiving Service.
Among those who were present at the thanksgiving are former APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, Senator Ali Ndume, Victor Giadom and others party’s top bigwigs.
In his words:
“I stand before you today to declare my intention and submit my application to serve as your next President,” he said amidst cheers from the crowd.
