Aregbe said that considering Tinubu’s records as a progressive, his quality and victory, they are fully ready be behind him and follow his presidential bid to the fault. He noted further that by doing this, they would be stamping the legitimacy of youths in Nigeria’s electoral process, as this will also ensure the involvement of youths in the presidential bid of the APC Leader

“We are convinced, going by his track record as a progressive, about his victory and that informs our decision. Besides, it is also a way to stamp the legitimacy of youths on the presidential election process and we shall further ensure rigorous involvement of youths in the Tinubu presidency,” the statement reads further.

The group’s convener added that Bola Tinubu laid a blueprint for Lagos state, and that is the reason for their support.

“As a builder passionate about infrastructure, the former Lagos State governor not only laid the blueprint for infrastructure development of modern Lagos, but also ensured the productivity of the state. Today, Lagos State remains a model amongst other states in the federation owing to the golden era of development ushered in by the Jagaban,” he said.

In another news, former Super Eagles players led by Austin Jay Jay Okocha and Kanu Nwankwo played a novelty match for the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in celebration of his 70th birthday and this has led to outrage on social media.

Nigerians have started calling the ex-footballers out when they visited Tinubu’s residence a day before the match as they alleged them of endorsing the former Lagos state governor for Presidency.

This was later debunked by Kanu Nwankwo, Jay Jay Okocka and others. They declared that they only honoured the APC National Leader on his 70th birthday, adding that they are not politicians but footballers and they are proud of that.
