Shehu Sani, a former Nigerian Senator and Kaduna State Governorship aspirant has lamented as he received calls from 300 different delegates who participated in the state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary election after promising to compensate only two that voted for him the election.
The former lawmaker had earlier revealed, in statement released via his official Twitter handle, @ShehuSani, that he has lost the primary election to his opponent, Hon. Issa Ashiru after only two delegates managed to vote for him and he promised compensate them for supporting him even without giving them a dime.
Shortly after he made the announcement, Senator Sani took to his Twitter handle again to lament and revealed that he has received over 300 calls from different delegates claiming they are the ones that supported him, after he disclosed that he would like to compensate the two delegates who voted for him.
In his tweet:
“Two delegates voted for me without paying them kobo; But I have received over 300 calls from Different Delegates claiming that they are the two that voted for me and want to come and see me…See me se wahala abeg.”
