There was a complete pandemonium yesterday at a nightclub located in the Gowon Estate, Lagos, as a Police escort to a birthday celebrant accidentally shot two persons to death.
Eons Intelligence gathered that the Mobile Police Officer who was believed to be under the influence of alcohol shot to death the birthday celebrant and one guest while a few others were said to have sustained bullet wounds.

HotNewsInNaija learnt that the whole scenario started when the MOPOL who was already high on alcohol was attempting to give the celebrant gun salute and, according to Eons Intelligence, the round selector of the gun handled by him was possibly on rapid-firing, which resulted in losing control of the weapon, and eventually led to the killing of the celebrant and another guest on the spot.
As of the time of filing this report, no official comment has been made by Lagos State Police concerning the unfortunate incident.
