Nigerian Journalist and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Bayo Onanuga has said those relating Nigeria’s president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu with drug dealing business will face divine punishment.
During the build-up to the 2023 presidential elections, one of the key candidates, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was pinned with a drug-related controversy.
These allegations have been circulating on social media for several months now and have caused a stir among his opposition mainly, the Labour Party.
Despite the fact that Tinubu won the election, these allegations continue to circulate, causing people to question if he should be disqualified from the presidency altogether.
As the court of law continues to determine the validity of these allegations, social media has been flooded with tweets and posts condemning Tinubu, using hashtags like #TinubuDrugDealer, and others calling for him to be imprisoned.
The situation has gotten so out of hand that Bayo Onanuga, a senior member of Tinubu’s All Progressives Congress party has issued a warning for those behind the hashtag movement. Onanuga says that the law and the wrath of God will come down on those who spread such rumors.
