“Davido Made Your Net Worth On His Dubai Show Last Week,” Burna Boy Attacked After Claiming He’s The Highest Paid Artist In Africa

Nigerian Afrobeats Superstar and Grammy Awards winner, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy has drawn the ire of some people on social media after he portrayed himself as the highest-paid artist in the history of African music.

Burna Boy, having claimed, that he’s the highest-paid African musician, was trolled on Twitter, as some irate people told him that his rival in the industry, Davido, has last week, made an amount that is equivalent to the singer’s net worth in a show he held in Dubai.

The Nigerian top-notch singer took to his official verified Twitter handle, @burnaboy, on Saturday morning, bragging about being the best and richer than every other music star in Africa. In his tweet:

“I said money doesn’t satisfy me and it’s my Truth but it Doesn’t change the fact that I’m the highest paid artist in the History of African music. Believe it or not.”

Following this, Burna Boy was subjected to a series of trolls by many people on the social media platform, while he was, on the other hand, praised by only a few people who seem to be his die-hard fans.

The Grammy Awards winner was called out and down talked that he’s nowhere near Davido when it’s come to money matters.
